Do you cater for special dietary needs?
Yes we cater for special dietary needs.
Cupcake mix: dairy free and we also have gluten free mixes.
- You can add milk of your choice
- replace the egg with egg replacer to make them vegan
Icing: dairy free, gluten free and vegan.
Cookies: contain wheat, gluten, dairy and egg.
Edible decorations: contain some allergens so best to check the food label provided in the box
Do your boxes have a best before date?
There are several components in the box with different best before dates, they will be provided for you in the box but to get the freshest results we recommend you use the box within 3 weeks.
How long before my event should I order the box?
We make the box fresh to order, but please allow 3 days for us to make your box fresh for you and then allow approx another 5 business days for shipping or you can pick up from Vermont South on a Wednesday or Friday between 9.00am and 6.00pm.
Do you give refunds?
Unfortunately due to the perishable nature of the products we don’t accept refunds or returns. If an item is damaged, please email us at info@petitfourchefs.com.au within 24 hours of receiving the party box, please include photos of the damaged goods and we will do our best to rectify this for you.
Can I change the colours of the table setting?
Yes you can, just specify what colours you would like for your tablecloth and plates in the notes section of the checkout page and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Colour choices: white, pastel pink, hot pink, lavender, silver, pastel blue, navy blue, jade, black, red, orange, lime green, yellow.
Can I change the colours of the icing?
Each theme comes with 2 different colours of icing, these cannot be changed but extra icing colours can be added to your order.
I am not a baker, how difficult is it to make the cupcakes?
Our cupcake mix is simple to make and anyone can do it. You can make this together with your child for some added interactive fun.
All you need to make the cupcakes is add 2 simple ingredients (egg and milk of your choice) to the cupcake mix and beat it all together. You can hand mix with a whisk or use a mixer. Cupcake cases are provided, you will just need fill them with the cupcake mix and place in the oven on a flat baking tray, no special cupcake pan is required!
How do I throw a party at home?
Our party box includes a timeline guide for a 2 hour party with pictures and clear instructions to host your own simple party at home with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.
How will the kids know how to use their decorations?
We have included easy to read instructions with illustrations for the kids and photos of what the decorated cupcakes and cookies will look like. Of course this is a time for the kids to be creative and can use their imagination to create their own masterpieces.
What age group is this suitable for?
This is suitable for all ages but we recommend parental supervision as there are very small edible decorations which could pose a risk to young children. Generally the ideal age is between 3-12 years of age.
